When you use our SAT diagnostic test, we collect the following information:

  • Contact Information: First name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), grade level, and whether you are a parent or student.
  • Test Responses: Your answers to diagnostic questions, time spent per question, and your resulting readiness report data.
  • Technical Data: Browser type, device information, IP address (hashed), and page visit timestamps.
  • Marketing Data: UTM parameters from referring links (source, medium, campaign) and cookie-based analytics identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate and deliver your personalized SAT readiness report
  • Send follow-up emails with study tips related to your results
  • Enable our tutoring team to offer personalized consultation
  • Sync your contact information with our CRM system (HubSpot) for sales follow-up
  • Analyze aggregate test data to improve our question bank and services
  • Track marketing campaign effectiveness through analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and marketing purposes. This includes Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel. These tools help us understand how visitors interact with our site and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

You can control cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner. If you decline cookies, analytics and marketing trackers will not be loaded.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate our business:

  • Supabase: Database hosting for test and contact data
  • Resend: Email delivery service
  • HubSpot: Customer relationship management
  • Vercel: Website hosting
  • Google & Meta: Analytics and advertising platforms (when cookies are accepted)

5. Users Under 18

Our diagnostic test is designed for high school students, who may be under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, we encourage you to use this service with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian. Parents may submit information on behalf of their child.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Withdraw consent for cookies and tracking

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • The right to know what personal information is collected, used, and shared

  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

8. Data Retention

We retain your test results and contact information for up to 2 years after your last interaction with us. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.
